PET OF THE MONTH

To ring in the New Year, we are pleased to showcase “Gus” Gervais. An English bulldog.

Gus was purchased from a farming family in Challis ID. He joined our family in July 2007 at the age of 11 weeks. His bloodlines are of Russian decent. He is all white, with some brindle markings. Chasing birds from his yard, watching bubbles and trying to catch them, and chewing his toys are some of his favorite pastimes.

Gus also like to watch television, and loves movies about dogs, and seems to pay special attention when they bark. He also thinks that there is a twin of him in the mirror whenever he walks by and then has to stare at himself until he gets tired and goes to sleep! He plays hard for about an hour then takes a nap for a few hours, so the process can start all over again!

Gus is a people lover, and loves it when people make a fuss over him. He gives lots of hugs and kisses. We are so glad that we have him and he loves us as much as we love him. English Bulldogs are definitely one of the best family dog breeds out there.

Gus was studded out earlier this year, and is the proud father of 7 beautiful puppies, whelped in May 2008. Unfortunately, Wilma will no longer be having puppies, so Gus is in need of another girlfriend!
